Bio

Shannon Cheung is a PhD Candidate in the School of Social Work at Rutgers University. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Social Work with a minor in sociology (2019) and Master of Social Work (2020) at the School of Social Work as well. Shannon graduated from the School of Social Work's MSW program with the Addictions Counselor Training (ACT) Certificate. Her practice experience includes coordinating LGBTQ+ youth programming as well as providing counseling to young adults with co-occurring substance use disorders and mental health disorders.
