Bio

Ryan DiMeglio is an Assistant Professor of Teaching and Co-Director of the Addiction Counselor Training (ACT) Program. In this role, he coordinates field education and placements across all campuses. He also coordinates licensure and certification requirements for students pursuing a license as a drug and alcohol counselor and certification as a compulsive gambling counselor. 

A graduate of the ACT Program, Ryan is an alum of the School of Social Work. He is a Licensed Clinical Social Work (LCSW) and Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LCADC) and has completed the education hours for a Certified Compulsive Gambling Counselor (CCGC).

Ryan has extensive clinical experience in a variety of addiction treatment settings. He has provided clinical services across all levels of care in the substance abuse treatment continuum, with a focus on the co-occurring client population. He has also held roles as a Clinical Coordinator and Clinical Supervisor within the addiction field for much of his career.
