Bio
Dr. John is a health equity scholar whose research investigates how structural and social determinants shape health disparities among immigrant and refugee populations. Her work examines how systemic factors such as immigration policies, socioeconomic disparities and cultural stressors intersect with social determinants such as family dynamics, community support, and economic mobility to influence health outcomes across the life course.
